About Administrative Professional Council (APC):
The APC’s purpose is to represent and promote the interests of administrative professionals at Colorado State University and to facilitate communication across campus. Members are dedicated to researching, discussing, making recommendations to the CSU Administration, and assisting in implementation, when warranted, issues regarding employment and benefits that have the potential to affect the welfare of APs.

About the Campus Bicycle Advisory Committee (CBAC):
The Campus Bicycle Advisory Committee is a collection of CSU staff, students, and affiliates. CBAC exists to advance active transportation at Colorado State University and in Fort Collins. We collect volunteers for local events and demonstrations, review and advise on upcoming CSU infrastructure projects such as new sidewalks and bike trails, and have guests from the City of Fort Collins join to seek feedback or community support. If you’re interested in advancing active and alternative modes of transportation in the community this is the place for you!

About the Employee Appreciation Board (EAB): 
The Colorado State University Employee Appreciation Board (CSUEAB) was formed in 1968, making it one of the longest-standing traditions on campus. Originally called the “Faculty Club Board” and then renamed the Colorado State Activities Board, and finally the “Employee Appreciation Board”, our mission to recognize and promote community spirit among faculty and staff has remained constant over the years.

About the Faculty Council Committee on Strategic and Financial Planning (CoSFP):
The duties of this standing committee shall be:

  • To recommend policies to the Faculty Council related to planning and budgeting activities that affect the academic function of the University.
  • To review the procedures, outcomes, and accountability of the University’s strategic planning processes and plans.
  • To present the standing committee’s evaluations and recommendations on such planning processes and plans to the Faculty Council for approval or disapproval on a semiannual basis.
  • To review University proposals, policies and procedures as they affect the academic programs and structure of the institution.
  • To review new academic program proposals from a strategic and financial planning perspective and report recommendations to Faculty Council.
  • To recommend priorities for resource allocations to achieve University academic planning goals.
  • To recommend policies for the distribution of faculty compensation increases.
  • To monitor the on-going financial status of the University and inform Faculty Council of any conditions likely to result in financial exigency.  The Committee should collect information about procedures used in other universities faced with financial exigency and any other information that would aid in developing reasonable plans to deal with current conditions of financial exigency.
  • To consult with the President of the University regarding the declaration of the condition of financial exigency; should a recommendation of financial exigency be made by the President to the Board, the CoSFP chair shall present the views of the committee to the Board.

About the Leave Sharing Bank:
The Leave Sharing Bank provides a certain amount of income protection to eligible state classified employees who need to be absent from work for a prolonged period of time due to such instances in which the employee, or an immediate family member of the employee, experiences an unforeseeable, life-altering event, is unable to return to work, and has exhausted all of his or her available accrued leave. 

The Leave Sharing Program creates a Leave Bank to which state classified employees of CSU may contribute unused annual leave, creating a resource from which leave may be drawn by an eligible state classified employee, in accordance with applicable law, this Policy and its related rules and procedures.

About the Physical Development Committee (PDC):
The Physical Development Committee (PDC) is a representative body of the University. The committee, in conjunction with the Associate Vice President of Facilities Management, acts as an advisory body to the University through the Vice President of University Operations. The committee is primarily tactical in perspective, concerned with the exterior physical environment of Colorado State University’s campuses, where function, aesthetic quality, and physical character intermix to create a desirable and inspirational atmosphere for students and employees.

About the University Policy Review Committee (UPRC):
The duties of the UPRC shall be:

  • To facilitate the review of the (potential) impact of proposed new university policies and to facilitate the review of the (potential) impact of current policies when they are significantly revised or when questions arise about their interpretation, effectiveness or impacts, and to gather and collate input from the bodies represented on the committee.
  • To solicit and facilitate input on (potential) conflicts between university administrative policies and the Academic Faculty and Administrative Professional Manual and the HR Manual.
  • To help identify parts of the university community that may be affected by university policy for consideration in a review of the impact of university policy.
  • To solicit and facilitate relevant and appropriate dialog within the university community for consideration in a review of the impact of a proposed new university policy or significant revision being carried out by the Office of Policy & Compliance.
  • To recommend evaluation of the impact of proposed university policies and their implementation by the appropriate, impacted groups or units, and of existing university policies when questions or concerns arise.

The UPRC shall consider requests for review of university policy from the university community. It shall transmit the results of reviews and recommendations to the Administration, the Faculty Council, the Administrative Professional Council, Classified Personnel Council, ASCSU, and the University Graduate Student Council.
